Correct use method and steps of disposable pipette:

1. Before use: When using a pipette, you must first look at the pipette mark, accuracy level, and position of the scale mark.

2. Liquid aspiration: Use the thumb and middle finger of your right hand to pinch the upper end of the pipette, insert the lower mouth of the tube into the solution to be sucked, not too shallow or too deep, generally 10-20mm, too shallow will produce Aspirate and suck the solution into the ear wash ball to soil the solution. If it is too deep, it will stick too much solution outside the tube. Take the ear-washing ball in your left hand, connect it to the upper mouth of the tube and slowly inhale the solution. First suck in about 1/3 of the tube's capacity. Use the index finger of your right hand to hold the tube mouth, take it out, hold it horizontally, and turn the tube to make the solution touch Mark the part above the scale to replace the water on the inner wall, and then release the solution from the lower mouth of the tube and discard it. After repeated washing 3 times, you can draw the solution to about 5mm above the scale, and immediately press the mouth of the tube with your right index finger .

3. Adjust the liquid level: lift the pipette up to leave the liquid level, wipe off the liquid on the outer wall of the pipette with filter paper, the end of the tube is leaned against the inner wall of the solution container, the tube body is kept vertical, and the index finger is slightly relaxed Make the solution in the tube flow out slowly from the lower mouth until the bottom of the meniscus of the solution is tangent to the marking line, and immediately press the mouth of the tube with your index finger. Remove the droplet against the wall, remove the pipette, and insert it into the container that receives the solution.

4. Release the solution: If the container that accepts the solution is an Erlenmeyer flask, the Erlenmeyer flask should be tilted 30°, the disposable pipette should be kept vertical, and the lower end of the tube should be close to the inner wall of the Erlenmeyer flask. Loosen your index finger to allow the solution to move slowly along the bottle wall. Flow down slowly. When the liquid level drops to the discharge head and the tube touches the inner wall of the bottle for about 15 seconds, then remove the pipette. The small amount of solution remaining at the end of the tube should not be caused to flow out by external force. It has been considered on time. The volume of solution retained at the end is calculated.
